About Rachel

I have always been drawn to helping people understand and navigate their emotional lives. Over the course of my career, I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of settings, including therapeutic day schools, public schools, outpatient mental health clinics, and private practice. While my early work focused primarily on children and families, my practice has evolved to include adolescents and adults, with a particular focus on helping individuals navigate the challenges of parenthood, reproductive health, and personal growth.

In my therapy practice, I draw on a blend of attachment theory, trauma-informed care, and positive psychology. My approach is rooted in helping clients go beneath the surface to identify and understand recurring patterns that may be keeping them stuck. Although the work can be challenging at times, it’s also a process filled with curiosity, self-discovery, and even moments of joy and laughter.

I believe that pain is part of the human experience, and that we all have the potential to transform in the face of it. Sometimes, transformation begins simply by acknowledging how hard things feel. Other times, it involves learning new tools to help us move forward. Through my own personal experiences, I bring deep compassion to my work, allowing me to support each individual in a way that makes them feel seen, heard, and understood.

The therapeutic relationship is built on trust, and I work hard to create a space where clients feel comfortable, supported, and empowered to explore the things that are weighing on them. I strive to make every moment of our time together count, helping you feel heard and understood as we work towards healing and growth.
